We develop a unified theoretical framework for target-search first-passage problems under event-driven threshold resetting (TR), derive an exact MFPT expression for N independent searchers with collective resets, and show nontrivial optimization of MFPT and a trade-off with resetting cost for both ballistic and diffusive searchers [page::0][page::1][page::3]
